HOW TO BREW THE PERFECT FRENCH PRESS COFFEE
Step 1: Measure & Grind
Weigh 20–30 g of coffee (depending on your press size).
Use a coarse grind to ensure clean extraction and prevent grounds from slipping through the filter.
Step 2: Heat Water
Heat water to 195–205°F (90–96°C).
If you don’t have a thermometer, boil the water and let it rest for about 30 seconds.
Step 3: Add Coffee & Water
Add the ground coffee to your French press.
Pour a small amount of hot water to saturate the grounds and allow a quick 30-second bloom.
Then fill the press with the remaining water.
Step 4: Steep & Press
Place the lid on with the plunger raised.
Let the coffee steep for 4 minutes.
After steeping, press down slowly and evenly to separate the brewed coffee from the grounds.
Step 5: Pour & Enjoy
Serve immediately for a rich, full-bodied cup with maximum flavour.
