ETHICALLY SOURCED FROM PERU
Grown across the hillsides of Cutervo in Northern Peru, this community lot reflects a region still finding its stride — coffee only took root here around 2010, and after leaf rust pushed farms higher into the hills in 2013–2014, the cooler elevations that followed brought a real lift in quality.
Today, producers work year-round on fermentation, variety selection, and crop management, all while protecting the surrounding forest and keeping chemical inputs to a minimum. Among the growers behind this lot is Wilder Guevara, who transitioned from sugarcane and yonque into coffee in 2021, now growing Bourbon and Caturra alongside his family — a true showcase of a region on the rise.
