Colombian Women's Collective Coffee - ASPROTIMANA, Huila

This exceptional microlot comes from Programa Mujer Cafetera, a women-led producer group in Timana, Huila. The cooperative works exclusively with female coffee growers who own and manage their own farms, cultivating coffee on small plots intercropped with shade trees, bananas, corn, and beans.

Each producer operates her own micro-mill, employing meticulous post-harvest practices: hand-sorting cherries before depulping, careful fermentation, washing, and drying. With training support from SENA (Colombia's National Learning Service), these women have developed exceptional specialty coffee processing skills.

ASPROTIMANA partners with San Miguel, a family-owned Huila export company specializing in traceable microlots, ensuring quality control and fair premiums that directly improve producers' quality of life.
